Zermatt is a car-free community. Access for private transport is permitted up to the village of Täsch, which is about 5 km from the village. The road Täsch-Zermatt is closed for public transport.
We therefore have some information about your travel to Zermatt here:
Arrival by train
If you are traveling by train, there are daily train connections from all the surrounding airports from 6 a.m. to around midnight, which will take you to the final stop in Zermatt.
Once you arrive at Zermatt station, you can use the hotel's own shuttle between 07 and 21 o'clock. Just give us a call and we will be happy to pick you up.

Arrival by car
By car you can drive to the village of Täsch, which is about five km from Zermatt. There are various parking facilities to leave your car there during your holiday.
You are also welcome to use our partner hotel, the "Matterhorn Inn" in Täsch, to park your car. These are outside parking places and not covered. Reservations in advance are not possible and depending on availability you can use them at special conditions. On arrival, please report to the reception of the Matterhorn Inn for a parking voucher and then take the train or taxi to Zermatt.
The shuttle takes about 12 minutes and departs every 20-30 minutes from Täsch to Zermatt and back.
Alternatively, you can call a taxi company in Täsch, which will take you to the entrance to Zermatt within 10 minutes.

As soon as you have reached Zermatt, simply call us and we will pick you up with our shuttle taxi at the Zermatt train station.
You can also make use of our electric taxi on departure and be brought back to the station after check-out.
The shuttle service is free of charge for our guests and is available from 07-21:00 o‘clock.
